Whippet in Alaska

Tyler has been adjusting to the cold and snowy weather (cold being the most important)... We haven't any photos of him all decked out in his gear yet, but he does have leg warmers, booties, and a jacket so that he can play outside when it dips below zero. He has grown so much in the last couple of months. He loves to play Frisbee and fetch with any toy or ball. Here is a photo from mid-September where he is waiting patiently for Sarah to throw the ball:

Since our last post, not too much out of the ordinary around here. Curtis ran the Equinox Marathon. Here is Tyler helping Curtis warm-up before the race:Here Sarah and Tyler are waiting for Curtis at Mile 22:
Sarah’s sister came to visit in October so we all took a visit to Homer. Tyler was a little bit freaked out by the waves, but had a great time smelling all the seaweed that sweeps up onto the shore. Here are some pictures from that trip:

Since the passing of Commie, Spunks has been a little bit sad. Tyler loves watching the guinea’s play, we thought he would like to visit with Spunks. I am not too sure either one of them really enjoyed it – Although it didn’t help that Tyler was just waking up from his 4th nap today!
